HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY READERS AND WRITERS!!!
In 2022 I started with a 3 book list and then I got hung up on #GameofThrones by #GeorgeRRMartin for most of the year. The plan for 2023 is to read 6 books that are all 200-400 pages. This is the list of books:
1.) Abandoned: A Lively Deadmarsh Novel by Katie Berry (available here)~This is the first book in the #LivelyDeadmarsh series, if I have extra time I hope to read the next book in the #CLAW series by #KatieBerry rather than the next book in this. I also started this book in 2022, but put it down to #move and to finish #GameofThrones by #GeorgeRRMartin .~ Completed January 18, 2023. If you're interested in thrillers that walk the line between mystery and the paranormal, I would recommend you pick this up! (see the review here!)
2.) Adulthood Rites by Octavia E. Butler (available here)~This is the second book in the #Lilith'sBrood series. #Dawn is the first book and was read in #2022 andthere is a review for it here.~
3.) The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (available here)~FUN FACT: This book was purchased several years ago and I found it in our move! I'm at a different place in my life now, so I have no idea if I'll actually like it!~
4.) The Russia House by John LeCarré (available here)~FUN FACT: This is my husband's book. We have a similar taste in movies and I have a wide variety of taste in books, so I thought it would be fun to try.~
5.) Legend by Marie Lu (available here)~This is the first book in a series. I don't know if I will read the whole series yet, but I will let you know when I post my #review so keep an eye out!~
6.) Extinction Island: Jurassic Judgement by Janice Boekhoff (available here) ~This is the first in a series. FUN FACT: I had to use research on this book for some homework in one of my college courses. I was so interested, I bought the book and lost it on my honeymoon in 2021. I found it during our #move a year later!~
