Firstly, I wanted to announce that on September 7, I will be transitioning to a "Weekly Challenge" every two weeks rather than every week. It is becoming exhausting for me even though I do most in advance.
Moving on to this challenge.
We adopted Stella, the cute little mutt featured in this week's photos, on my birthday, August 29. She was about one year and one month old at the time which was in 2019.
This means her birthday is at the end of July and we celebrate it on the 29th because The Messy Mr's birthday is a few days before.
With all of our birthdays so close together and happening right about now, I thought it might be fun to write a piece called:
"The Worst Birthday Ever"
But here is the real challenge: make it a light-hearted piece. Perhaps it is "the worst" through the eyes of a spoiled child or your narrator is a bit like Ryan Reynolds.
Whatever you choose, it should make your audience feel good, that is what birthdays are about after all!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my handsome husband and my sweet Stell!
