July 6, 2022 Weekly Challenge

Last year on July 3rd, 2021, I was in a hit and run.

Witnesses said he cut across a median which is why I couldn't see him when I pulled into the intersection. He pulled over long enough to make sure his car was okay before getting in and driving away.

My car was totaled, but I was okay other than some scrapes, bumps, and bruises from passing out (due to a medical condition) after the accident.

So, in honor of the holiday and my miserable experience this time last year, tell me a story. I want an adventure on July 4 that leads to a car chase and a hit and run. I have faith in your abilities!
