Welcome to The Messy Mrs

Britt Jackman, aka The Messy Mrs, is a disabled Navy-veteran who rediscovered her love of writing when she thought all was lost. After being discharged from the Navy, she had no clue what to do with her life and began to pursue a degree in Health Sciences. During the first assignment of English I she was given the opportunity to “tell an important story” about her life. Two weeks later, she changed her major to Creative Writing. She writes what someone once called, “YA for actual adults” and likes to dabble in a variety of genres including, blends of Memoir, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Romance, Thriller, and Historical fiction. She has an Associate’s Degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Memoir and a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Fiction. She lives in Texas with her husband and two dogs.
